It is possible that if a user is trying to write blocks to their Alluxio cluster that the cluster can run out of available space to store the user's information. This may occur for a variety of reasons, but we should do our best to complete a users' write request without failing. This feature aims to use a cluster's configured UFS as additional storage for blocks when Alluxio memory tier runs out of space. This feature is optional and may be enabled via configuration.
